Last month MBLAQ's members G.O and Mir traveled to Peru to work on a charity program.
MBC covered the boys visit and KBS posted an article in Spanish about the events. Take a look at the translation and see the way Korean media reacted to the love of Peruvian fans.
The k-pop fever is growing at a fast speed on Latin America and according to some sources the visit made by MBLAQ and Park Jeong Ah caused a commotion in the country.
The three of them traveled to Peru to record a show from the MBC. When fans found out about their arrival around 3,000 Hallyu fans reunited at a local water park since early hours. During the afternoon when the Korean idols appeared on the stage the fans were really excited and some of them approached the stage to get a closer look of the boys causing some minors accidents.
Also some fans were so excited that almost faint but no medical help was needed. The images of the event were share through YouTube where people can see the happiness of the public. The Korean artists had to stop their performances in order to avoid further accidents and keep the safety of the public.
The love of the Peruvian fans was already demonstrated when the group arrived to the airport where several fans reunited with boards written in Korean, but the incident at the water park was a huge surprise for the Korean celebrities who showed their happiness to see the support of the Peruvian public.
Little by little Latin Amercian fans are getting the attention of the Korean media and with this they wish they can have the visit of more idols soon.
111011 [NEWS] MBLAQ's Mir sends a message to his fans + explains why he will temporarily stop Twitter
MBLAQ's Mir sparked worry from his fans a while ago after he revealed that he will temporarily stop updating his Twitter account, along with other internet monitoring.
Earlier today, Mir posted a Twitter update saying, "Shortly, we will stop everything, good luck". confusing the fans on what it meant. However, to clear things out, Mir updated his official homepage with a long message dedicated to his fans.
At the beginning of his update, Mir apologized to everyone for worrying his fans when he mentioned that he will stop everything via Twitter today. He went on to reveal that,
"I become weak to myself endlessly, I don’t know why but the world go well except me, and I feel I’m left alone." He also explained that when he was training to become an idol, he had a thought that if he became a singer, he wouldn't have the hard work and agony. However, Rain told him that he would be happier during their training and this made him realize that Rain was right. Mir also went on to state that, "After your debut, it would really be so hard and need to think a lot because of one thing and another. So, you must learn how to overcome those things for yourself."
Mir went on to reveal that he usually checks the internet to get consolation from his fans, as he got tired and lost his confidence, but he ended up with more of it. So he decided to stop everything for a while. He confessed that although he reads a lot of input from his fans who care and love for him, he also couldn't avoid to read through the bad comments made against him.
As he monitored their performances, comments and updates, Mir stated that he saw many posts about why MBLAQ wasn't popular and revealed that he truly misinterpreted the posts. However, he admitted that despite the troubles and errors, he recognized that the most important thing was how well he did it for himself.
By the end of his long update, Mir promised everyone that he will work harder than his past efforts, because the upcoming album will be important. Also promising that after working hard, he will return to his fans with a smile on his face.

111012 [NEWS] Super Junior, MBLAQ, & SHINee to transform into top 90s idol starsHallyu stars Super Junior. MBLAQ & SHINee transform into 90′s KPOP stars for Moon Night 90!
‘Moon Night 90′ is a new fictional drama on Mnet, using old-school Kpop as it’s subject material. The episodes feature today’s hottest celebs acting out fictional episodes at the then-popular Itaewon club, Moon Night.
The show is sure to be a hit with those who are currently in their 20s~30s, as old-school Kpop names like Hyun Jin Young, Deux, Seo Taiji & Boys, Clon, DJ DOC, R.ef, & SOLID bring back nostalgic memories. These groups were the roots that sprouted the Kpop wave.
Today’s top idol stars sing and dance to the classic music that was once performed by their seniors of 10+ years, and the series aims to tell the stories of the greatest dance artists of the 90s and their rise to stardom.
In the preview episode, the story unfolds as Watanabe Susuke from a Japanese broadcasting company comes to Korea to cover a story on the ever-popular Kpop, further putting Korean music in the spotlight.
The first episode told the story of Hyun Jin Young’s first steps to fame. He is performing at Moon Night where he is approached by a representative from SM Entertainment. He auditions for founder Lee Soo Man and becomes the first artist to ever debut under their label. Super Junior’s Shindong played the part of Hyun Jin Young evoking much laughter from the audience, while MBLAQ‘s Thunder and Seungho played the role of CLON, and SHINee‘s Taemin & Key played the roles of Deux.
The series was produced by PD Park Junsu of ‘UV Syndrome‘ while the title soundtrack “Moon Night” was written, composed & sang by none other than UV. Lee Hyundo also makes a rap featuring in the track.
The song was revealed for the first time on set and UV stated, “I wanted to express my respect for Deux while praising the music of the 90s era… We introduce a lot of familiar names in the song.”

111012 [NEWS] Preview for MBLAQ’s upcoming Japanese track “Again” revealed
Last week, the boys of MBLAQ revealed the PV for their second Japanese single, [b]“Baby U!" Now, a preview of the 2nd track on the upcoming single titled “Again” has been revealed.
The track is brand new and although sharing the same name, it isn’t a remake of their Korean song, “Again.” From the preview, you can hear that the track is very refreshing and fitting for the fall season.
“Baby U” is slated for release on October 26th, in the mean time check out the preview for “Again” below.
